Is SplatChat really free?: Yes. Verify your email and you get 30 voice minutes and 200 text messages every day, free. The allowance refills on a rolling 24-hour window. Credits only come in for extras: more minutes, premium creator characters, and tools like bots, phone calls, and image generation.
What does a minute of voice cost after the free daily minutes?: 100 credits, about $0.20. Plans and top-up packs buy credits at the same rate, so there is no wrong way to pay.
Do meeting bots, phone calls, and website embeds use the same credits?: Yes. A character in your meeting or on a phone call bills the same 100 credits per minute from your balance (phone calls count answered time only). Broadcasts bill per on-air minute. Embed visitors bill the embed owner, with a monthly budget cap you set.
Do unused credits roll over?: Subscription credits roll over up to a cap: 15,000 on Plus, 50,000 on Pro. Free-tier monthly credits do not accumulate. Top-up credits never expire.
Can I cancel my subscription?: Anytime. Plans are month to month, and your plan stays active through the end of the billing period you already paid for.
Do I need an account to try it?: No. Your first calls work as a guest with free trial credits. Signing up adds memory, more credits, and a monthly refresh.
